Description: The ControlPoint feature class lies at the heart of the APDM. The ControlPoint feature class stores points of known X,Y (optionally Z) position and known station value (measure) along the pipeline centerline. Control point features define the pipeline centerline. The ControlPoint feature class has one or more many-to-one relationships with the StationSeries feature class; one for each ReferenceMode in the system. Within a given reference mode, each station series feature is composed of two or more control point features of the same reference mode. Each control point corresponds to a vertex (including the endpoints) of an associated station series feature. The station (or measure) value stored with the control point feature defines the M value of the vertex at the same location in the associated station series feature.
